College Of Ag Sciences Offers Sanitation Short Course
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Sanitation Short Course will be offered by Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, Oct. 10-12 at the Atherton Hotel in State College.
The short course is intended for laboratory workers and others involved with food science and technology, quality control specialists, sanitation inspectors and regulators, packers, processors, retail and wholesale distributors, food service operators, food safety educators, and sales and service representatives from related industries.
Topics covered during the course will include the latest methods and technologies in cleaning and sanitizing, principles of sanitationand sanitation crew training. Attendees will develop skills during hands-on laboratory and problem-solving sessions. Keynote instructors include Dennis Bogart from Randolph Associates, Dale Fredell from Ecolab Inc., Don Graham from Graham Consulting and Richard Kammerling from RK Chemical Systems.
The registration fee of $675 covers tuition, course manual, parking, continental breakfast, lunches, beverage breaks, reception and certificate of participation.
