National Grass Fed Beef Conference Set For Feb. 28- March 2
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The National Grass Fed Beef Conference sponsored by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences will be held Feb. 28-March 2 at the Harrisburg-Hershey Holiday Inn in Grantville, Pa. Intended for grass-fed beef producers or marketers, government agency personnel, academic researchers and teachers, and grazing land consultants, the conference will provide the latest information on grass-fed beef production and marketing.
Speakers will include producers, marketers and scientists from 20 states and Argentina. More than 40 educational sessions and workshops will be offered.
Other sponsors include the U.S. Department of Agriculture International Science Exchange Program, the Pennsylvania Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative, the Northeast SARE Program and the Tallgrass Beef Company. The registration deadline for the conference is Feb. 23. The registration fee for all four days is $250.
