Animal scientist Stan Curtis and graduate student Candace Croney have embarked on a unique research project that uses video games to gauge the mental abilities of pigs (see In A Pig's Eye Fall 1996/Winter 1997). The project captured the attention of documentary filmmakers from the BBC. A crew from the British television network visited the Agricultural Sciences and Industries Building on the University Park campus in February and April to tape segments for a documentary on the work. The program, QED: Move Over, Babe!, aired in Great Britain this summer and is expected to be televised in the United States soon. Watch for it!
